Saturday, October 5, 2013
In celebration of Boston’s first ArtWeek and Boston Ballet’s 50th Celebratory Season, our South End Studios will be open to the public from 10 am until 3pm, providing FREE and unprecedented access in our recently renovated home, including:
- the rare opportunity to take a master class led by a Company dancer (ages 16 and up)
- children’s classes that will explore a classic ballet story through music and props (ages 2 to 7)
- specially tailored tours of one of the first buildings designed (by renowned architect Graham Gund) specifically for the needs of a major American dance company
- and a unique chance to get up-close-and-personal with our priceless costumes during the Costume Shop Yard Sale and a Pointe Shoe Petting Zoo courtesy of Back Bay Dancewear.
